2009-2010 Chapter Goals:
1. Double Nevada HIMSS Chapter membership (need everyone’s help here)
2. Gain commitment from two or more corporate sponsors for annual chapter events
3. Hold at events/programs monthly
4. Increase HIT outreach to all facets of the local healthcare industry and expand awareness about HIMSS roles and benefits
5. Hold a joint program with w/ local chapters of ACHE, HFMA, MGMA, CAAMA, ACNA
6. Invite the Utah, No Cal, So Cal, and Arizona HIMSS chapters to develop and attend a possible joint program in Vegas.
7. Grow chapter resources to allow for expanded program offerings, marketing, and Nevada presence.
